For as long as I can remember, the Duong’s have been avid supporters of anything and everything I do. Today, I wanted to highlight the youngest of the three sisters, Shirley Duong, and her new venture into fashion and photography called Idiosyncrasies. Word on the street is that the City of San Jose is planning to close down 22 community centers {Alum Rock Youth Center included}, cut back library hours to 3 days a week, close down all city pools, and layoff 700 or so employees sometime soon. With that being the case, programs like the one where I work at, Hip Hop 360, don’t have much chance of staying alive. Shoot, they might as well cut back school to 3 days a week while they’re at it.
