Recently, from about 6PM – 6AM, six dancers performed 10 minute shows with 10 minute breaks in between each set at Verizon’s Jump Street stage at Disneyland’s Grad Nite. The dancers inlcuded Energetic, Johnny Legs, Lil’ Bob and Outer Circle members Gyroe, Nasty Ray, and Peppa. Come back and visit San Jose soon!

Nasty Ray x The Squadron x Warsaw Challenge = Win

Nasty Ray {Boogie Brats x The Squadron} just messaged me about World Dance Colosseum in Japan. He said he’ll be competing and teaching alongside Roxrite {Reneagades}. Although I’ve never heard of the event, the website and videos seem to be legit. Let’s hope they don’t run into any flight troubles….AGAIN. bv

A few weeks ago, a group of us from Hip Hop 360 went to speak against the proposed budget cuts of after school programs at the San Jose City Hall. We each spoke our piece, which was cut down from two minutes to one minute. In the end, the City still cut the funding to many after school programs including Hip Hop 360. Thankfully, we do have a grant coming in that will cover us through the summer. I just hope they don’t move forward with their plans to shut down 21 of the 32 community centers throughout the City. bv

After receiving feedback from last week’s successful evening at Vega’s Integrated Tumbling, I’ve decided to try bi-weekly sessions. The open spring floor days and times will now occur as follows:

Mondays {Bi-Weekly}
9:00PM – 11:00PM

05.10.10
05.24.10
06.07.10 and so on….

The cost will remain $5.00 for now until I can get a better idea of the average attendance. Just so you know, the fee is usually $10.00 for these gyms, so you all are still getting half off from the jump! Remember to print, fill out, and sign the waiver form HERE if you haven’t already done so. I also have waivers on site in case you forget to bring it next time.
