I stopped by Cukui a few days ago and picked up some fliers {as well as some other goodies} to help promote the first Punk Drunkers pop-up store in the US, which will held at their very own shop in Japantown this coming Friday. Make plans to stop in if you’re free. Better yet, make sure that you’re free!

In the past few months on several occasions, I’ve had the pleasure of talking to Dee Jae Pa’este, a man that isn’t in town too long or ever too often. More recently, he had an art show in downtown San Jose’s South First Billiards where I picked up some shirts, pictured below, he’s had a hand in making. You MIGHT see some of his work at FAME FW2010 and/or even the legend himself! BUT, no promises.

While preparing her pieces for the runway, she’s also managing to work crazy hours at the new Superdry store at Westfield’s San Francisco Centre. Here’s one of her recent status updates on Facebook:

“Finally home in my comfy bed after a 15hr shift at the new job… Goodnight fb. Tomorrow I’ll be doing it again…”

Reminder reminder!

Tomorrow, Monday, September 27, 2010 from 9:00PM – 11:00PM is open session at Vega’s Integrated Tumbling. Come one, come all. Flip, trick, bboy/bgirl, and whatever your heart desires.

$5.00 general admission for two hours {$10.00 is the going price for most open gyms like this for 1.5 hours just fyi}.
